Measures per line
I have a problem with several measures being overly streched out so that there's only one measure per line. It happened only after I added lyrics but the lyrics isn't long enough to require such stretch. I tried the Decrease Stretch function and it did nothing, neither did the Measures per line function in Tools. I tried Style→General→Measure and lower the Spacing from 1,200 to 1,000 but then it affects the whole score and I need just these three measures. I tried going through the forums here but I only found the opposite problem of having too many measures per line, so if anyone knows how to fix this, I'd be really grateful.

We would need you to post the score you are having trouble with in order to do anything more than guess. But if I had to guess, I'd say you probably have line breaks on the measures that are currently sitting on a line by themselves. Remove the line breaks and all should be well.

I have no line breaks there, if you mean that blue icon with bent arrow. I tried making the size of lyrics smaller and it worked but then this part is there again and it happened again even with smaller font. The first instance is on page 3, where I managed to fix it, and again on page 7.

For page 7, decreasing the stretch of the measures fits two measures on a system. Make sure you have a selection before decreasing stretch.

Those measures are just slightly too big too fit with your current settings. Selecting them and reducing stretch one nothc allows them to fix (press "{").

Thank you! I didn't even think about trying it on page 7 since it didn't work before on page 3

It would have worked on page 3 as well. Sometimes you might have to reduce stretch more than one nothc - just press "{" several times with the measures selected. If it still won't fit, then it's because your lyrics are too large, or the music itself is.
