Multiple types of staff on the same page

Hi there! I'm new to MuseScore, and I'm trying to figure out how to have several different types of staff on the same page. I'd like to have one staff that gives 8 bars in regular treble clef, then have a break with a bit of text, then start another new section that is TAB. I tried inserting a section break at the end of the first line, but I still can't change any following bars to TAB.

Is this possible?

Thanks for any help, this software is great!

Add all the staves you will need (ie, both the standard and tab staves), add the notes, then turn on Style / General / Hide empty staves so only the staves with notes actually appear in your score.

Thanks for the quick replies! My problem is I can't figure out how to change the staff after the break to TAB.... when I go to Clef in the Palettes I can't simply change it there. If I go to staff properties on the second line and try to change something there it changes the system before the break as well. I must be missing something simple...

Yes, please read the responses again. You need to add *both* staves first. You don't change from one to the other within one staff. Instead, you use the standard staff where you want (leaving the other blank), then use the tab staff where you want (leaving the other blank). Then turn on the Hie empty staves option, which makes the unused staves go away.
