I am thinking of buying an iPad Pro 10.5 as a portable back up for my musescore 2.1 does this system support it.if not which Apple product will be ok

You can view and play scores using the mobile apps, but there are no iOS Versions of MuseScore itself, so no editing capability. If you want an Apple product to edit scores, it would need to be a Mac of some type.
