Brand New MacBook Pro, Brand New Beats Solo 2 Headphones...

• Sep 22, 2017 - 03:46

So I just purchased a brand new MacBook Pro (mid-2015) running macOS Sierra 10.12.5. I just downloaded MuseScore2 and began composing and arranging some files, but wanted to give them a try with my new Beats Solo 2 Wireless Bluetooth Headphones. Once the headphones are wirelessly connected to the MacBook Pro, I can listen to YouTube videos or iTunes files with no problem; however, even when going through the MuseScore Preferences > I/O, and setting the Device to the Beats headphones which are recognized by the program, no audio comes through the headphones, the onboard speakers, or anything. I simply cannot figure out why I can wirelessly listen to any other audio source through the headphones, but not any sound output from MuseScore2. Can anyone shed any light on this situation?

Many thanks in advance for all your assistance!

Sincere regards,

John Ector

Thanks for the response! As you can see, this is not an isolated issue; I look forward to a bug fix on this so that I can properly use my new computer with my new headphones! Thanks again!
