Can't save different sound font for separate scores
On one score I want to save the sound font as FluidR3Mono and the other score I want to save it as GeneralUserGS but the Save to Score button is grayed out on one or both scores.
I can move each sound font to the top of the list, but the score will not keep it without affecting the other scores as well.
Any advice is appreciated.

Try to move the volume slider slightly ...
and check if the buttons are activated

Thank you, moving the volume slider did activate the button. And with a little experimenting, I was able to save each score with the respective sound fount.

In a session of MuseScore, all open scores use the same sound fonts. If you want to use different sound fonts, you have to close one and open the other.

Yes, thank you. That's what the manual says. But that doesn't seem to fix my problem.

You need to save the sound font(s) to each score, so the correct fonts will load when the score is loaded.

Yes, I know. But I was referring to the deactivated buttons. Problem solved though. But it would be so convenient if the program would allow multiple scores with differing sound fonts to be opened at one time but I can easily wrap my head around why such a thing is not possible.
