[New web site] Markdown syntax
I tried to search in the forum and in the issue tracker, but I found nothing except: #246486: Old comments on blogs not parsed for Markdown syntax
In my browser I cannot see the effect of markdown syntax, both in the preview and in the final post, as listed here: https://musescore.org/en/filter/tips
For example:
Link to MuseScore
Emphasized
Italicized
Strong
Bolded
Underlined
Cited
First item Second item
First item Second item
Only the code
tag seems to have an effect, at least in my browser.
I am using Firefox 56.0.2 under Windows 7 Home Premium (64bit).
Has anyone else seen the same problem?

Not here m Windows 7 Enterprose, IE11
There is Bold/Strong (using double underscore) and Italic/Emphasis (using single underscore) and both (using triple underscore), but no Underline (and there never was, IIRC, even if it is documented for filtered html?), except for links. There is
If I had designed markdown, I'd have used / for italic, * for bold and _ for underline, like it is customary being used in the internet in the old days of plain ASCII text email and net news

Sorry. I meant the Allowed HTML tags
This is double underscore: bold
This is <b> tag: bold
I was always using html tags in comments and now they don't work anymore (most of them). Maybe the part about allowed html tags should be deleted in page: https://musescore.org/en/filter/tips

Filtered HTML is no longer allowed for new articles and pages, but still exists for older stuff
