I moved stuff out of voice 2 and the voice 2 rests won't go away...
I was putting together a score and had put a bunch of stuff in voice 2, and realized that the opposite direction bars were impacted readability, so I moved them out of voice 2 and back into voice 1, and it left behind all of the rests and I don't know how to get rid of them. I tried copy & pasting the notes but it selects the voice 2 stuff as well.
Comments
Select the measures with the rests. Right click one of the rests you want to delete then use Select>more... and check Rests, same voice and in selection. Click OK, then press delete and they will be gone.

The only voice you can't delete rests in is voice 1, all other voices can have rests on any beat deleted, so be careful not to confuse yourself doing this.

You can also remove the rests by deleting them.
