A chord whose notes are played not simultaneously, instead of quickly in order. The use of arpeggios is not so unusual for that.
Else please explain your definition or describe in more detail, how it should look/sound like for better help.

In general, the term "arpeggios" can also mean two different meanings, since it's also used for series arpeggios.
e.g.: c, e, g, c', g, e| d, f, a, d, f, a.
However, since serial arpeggios are written as notes, they are not used as chord terms.
Rolled chords / Broken chords (arpeggios) are shown with special marks.
