Wrong forum, but the answer is Ctrl+Del as a look into the handbook reveals ;-)

Highlighting all measures and using Ctrl-Del deletes everything and leaves you with a blank page - no staves, no clefs. Before, it left you one empty measure.

Before what?
I do remember from the far back of my head that there once was a problem with deleting all measures, but that is long ago, probably before MuseScore 1.0 (I've just checked)
