Problem with instrument sounds
I had severe files which I combined into a single large file but now the sound for the various instruments have changed, for example flute sounds like drum set and horns sounds like vocal , Each original file sounded fine but when I combined them the sound was some how corrupted

How did you combine them? Using the album feature? Have all scores the same set of instruments and in the same order?

Yes Used the album feature and all scores have the same set of instruments in the same order
Using instrument changes in any of those? Or have assigned different sound to the instruments via mixer in any of them?
Yes (eg Bb Clarinet to A Clarinet ) - and changed back so that they all lined up when I joined them. Ironically it is the flute line which never changed instruments which went from Flute sounds to drums . Also I discovered that there were passages in the Trumpet and Trombones which were randomly up or down and octave.
What if you'd remove the instrument changes and merge the album again? And maybe then add the instrument changes again?
