How to cross the staff with a single note?
Hello,
I am trying to arrange a score for easier reading. The example is in the bar below. The A note, highlighted in blue.
When I select that note and do command+shift+up I get the following result.
However, I wanted to keep the F note in the bass staff.
Is there a way to move only that single A note over to the treble staff? So that it would look more like the following image... (but with the stem connected to the bass staff).
Thanks...

See:
https://musescore.org/en/handbook/cross-staff-notation
It states:
If you need notes in the old staff at the same place, use voices.

Double click on the stem (i.e. in edit mode) to lengthen it.
Make the hook (flag) of the eighth note invisible, also the voice 2 rest in the treble staff.
Have a look: Cross_staff_single_note.mscz
Currently you can only "cross staff" the entire chords, not just a single note of it.

Thank you both for your replies.
The solution to extend the stem and make the flag invisible is good enough for my purposes, thank you for that.
I extended the stem but I am struggling to figure out how to make the flag invisible. I already searched teh forum but can't find the answer.

Select the flag and press "v" (or deactivate "visible" inside the inspector).

If you hare having trouble clicking the flag, you can click the note then, in the inspector (F8), click hook to select only the flag.

Thank you both. That worked for me.
