Customizing instrument repertoire offered
I use Pan Flute regularly (this is not an attempt at satyr; it makes a great continuo). Have to type it, can't click it. Is there a way to add it to the default instrument set? Or make one's own instrument set?

Well, yeah, but unless you type (in which case you don't need "All Instruments"), "All Instruments" lists so many instruments and pseudonyms that it's difficult to find anything as easily as "Viola" in "Bowed Strings", for instance. This is really noncritical, but I was hoping there'd be a customization possible.

you could take the cue to modify the file :/data/instruments.xml? And save it with your Favorite Instruments.
Just an idea.
In the Instrument dialog's search box enter "Pan"

Yes, I know that, that's what I'm trying to find a faster substitute for... let me look at that xml database ... OMG there's a world (of possibilities) in there -- I could even default articulation gate times! Well, that should be more than enough....
