Vorrei un po' dell’aiuto con una parola in Italiano
mi scusi...ho studiato Italiano nell'universita' (ed a casa) 45 anni fa e L'ho dimenticato cosi tanto...
C’è una parola in una delle mie partiture destino. In Inglese americano ci sono due traduzioni. -D-e-s-t-i-n-y- ha due connotazioni, buona e cattiva. Ma, L’altra parola, F-a-t-e- è generalmente più cattiva.
Preferisco cattiva, ma sfortunatamente la mia conoscenza d’Italiano conosce la parola destino solamente.

Fato (fortuna, fatalità, sorte, caso, ventura).
When you say "in one of my scores", do you mean you're the author? Or is it a classic author? If so, what is the work? The context can influence the choice.
For the negative aspect: 'he has suffered the same fate' is implied surely as a misfortune.

In your example of "having suffered the same fate" what would the Italians say?
I would guess fato.
so instead of title "Il Trionfo del Destino" perhaps "Il Trionfo del Fato"?
My title should suggest a mocking, begrudging respect for fate, which one cannot conquer. My guess is in the poetic context, such as Verdi's La Forza del Destino fate is "IL" Destino (hence del not di destino).
Do I understand you? Is fato better?

Egli è andato incontro allo stesso fato; Ha fatto la stessa fine.
Which means he had the same fate; he ended up the same way. Both in a negative sense

"Il Trionfo del Fato" it seems to me to match your ideas.
Ineluttabile and synonyms: fatale, ineludibile inesorabile, inevitabile, irrimediabile
