Delete a letter in any text with DEL does get a beep sound
When I edit a text and remove a single letter by pressing DEL there is always a beep sound. This has not been there in 2.x. Is this by design?

You cannot hear it? I am on windows too.

It tourned out the beep is only when running in debug mode in VS.

I use prebuilt nightlies, so I'll never hear it...I hope.
