Which is More Comfortable to Play?
Hey guys,
So I'm currently creating a Wii Sports Band Arrangement for Pep Band (pretty excited for it).
Anyway, if any of u are familiar with the song, there's this drop in the middle of the song that has offbeat dotted eighth notes, and it's pretty scary to play. I created 2 notations of it on flute first, and I wanted to know which version would be LESS daunting to play, or EASIER to keep track of?
What do you guys think?

O, this is great! Just curious, wouldn't a quarter note quadruplet just be the length of an eight note in the 2nd phrase?
From a classical perspective, Screenshot (6) looks better in term of reading because you can see each beat. The idea is to try to keep each beat visible, staying away from dotted notes, when possible. Nice job!

Since they're tied notes (yes?), I don't think it would be necessary.
