Adding chord changes to a part
I asked this question in Musescore 2, and got a response, but maybe Musescore 3 has a different option available.
I write a lot of jazz combo scores with parts... 4 rhythm and 3 horns.
All of the parts need chord symbols for solos, just like a lead sheet from a fake book.
What is the quickest and easiest way to add chord symbols to a new part once you have got them set up on the bass line or piano part?
Can I just cut and paste?
Thanks

Or copy and paste. Chords know which beats they belong on so they're note tied to a note.
To be clear, you can copy and paste all the chords at ocne, so there is no need for anything to change - it's already extremely efficient. To select the chords, right-click one, Select / All Similar Elements in Same Staff (or first select a range and use Select All Similar Elements in Range Selection). Then Ctrl+C to copy, then click the new destination, Ctrl+V to paste. The chords will retain the same time positions regardless fo the notes in the measures.
