Musescore 3 won't automatically isolate instruments for new Parts Tab
I just downloaded Musescore 3. After opening a score with many instruments, I assumed that Musescore 3 would isolate instrumentals when creating a "new Part" but it plays all instruments. Any help?

You can mute or solo in MuseScore 3

As I may be the only Musescore user who sometimes likes to hear different combinations of instruments while working in parts mode, do I assume I will be back to using a workaround to do so after the fix? (I find it very handy for fine-tuning drum parts; visually focusing on the drums, while listening to selections of the ensemble.)

Not a "workaround" but an actual solution, a dedicated "Play part only" checkbox in the Mixer.
