Certain translation strings don't follow the selected language. Seen cases in both the installer and the application. Even though I selected English both places, and most text did turn english, certain strings ignored it and showed up in norwegian anyways.
Seen it in the menu (attached image, should probably say "Strecth", not "Strekk"), and in a couple of tool tips too.

Yes. And after another restart, the program decided to present me with the "settings wizard" thing again and throw away all the settings I did before I restarted... so to make a short story shorter: Musescore 3 is uninstalled now...
That points at a permission problem on saving the set preferences
