Cross-Staff Beams Vanishing
There's something terribly wrong with cross-staff beaming in Musescore 3. The most glaring issue, as in the attached file, is that when an entire group of beamed notes is moved over to another staff (done frequently in piano pieces), their beams entirely disappear. There doesn't seem to be any workaround to this, either. There's also issues regarding the auto-placement of slurs and lines when cross-staff beaming is involved, but I believe those are already known about and (hopefully!) being worked on.
Unfortunately, while other issues regarding cross-staff beaming have workarounds (since they're a problem with autoplacement), this issue does not.

I fixed a whole bunch of issues relating to cross-staff notation recently, and I encourage you to try a nightly build to see if that solves your problems. If you find there are still issues - or new ones that cropped up - please let us know!

Doesn't look like it's on the version available to me OS: Linux Mint 19, Arch.: i386, MuseScore version (32-bit): 3.1.0., revision: d4b829c

When I open the file you attached there using my build of 3.1, the ties appear way below the staff. That's because they've all been manually adjusted, probably to work around the bug in 3.0. BTW, seems they have also had autoplace turned off, but tha'ts not necessarily - it is best not to be in the habit of turning that off every time you make an adjustment.
Anyhow, if you select all and hit Ctrl+R, everything goes back where it should in 3.1.

As I said in my post, I used tricks. Without them (as you suggest) I get
I'm sorry I didn't mention the Ties reference. (But probably my Nightly isn't the last one available)

It's been in the nightly builds for a couple of weeks now (the fix was merged March 25). Your build is apparently from a month before that? Definitely too old, then.

Yes, of course (https://launchpad.net/~mscore-ubuntu/+archive/ubuntu/mscore-nightly ), I will patiently wait for the new version for this OS.
Thx.
