Split a beam

Hi,

when I create a group of notes, the beam links all of them together (well, not all of them but on groups of several notes, then I can manually link all of them in the same beam).

I would like to know if it´s possible to do something similar to the attached picture in MuseScore. When I have a beam grouping several notes together, split it on some points for "decoration" purposes.
In the image the first group of notes is what I want to do. The second group is what MuseScore creates when I link several notes together.

I am trying to enter into MuseScore an old engraved music I have on paper using that effect.
