Making Parts
I've written a string quartet in Musescore. I've successfully made 2 parts (violins) of the 4 parts into their own file, but the program shuts down if I try to make another. anybody else had a experience like this/has some input?

What version? There was a bug in older versions where generating parts would crash if you had attached voltas to any staff but the top. That's fixed in 1.3 but note you still shouldn't attach voltas to staves other than the top. They appear in generated parts automatically.
If you are using the current version - 1.3 - and don't have voltas attached to staves other than the top, then attaching the score here would be the next step.

I did have a volta on one of the middle staves. Taking it off fixed the problem. Thanks!
