Connect Barlines with Invisible Staff lines
Does anyone have a solid fix for making connected barlines between sets of invisible staff lines? I'm making pre-staff piano music for little kids, so the treble and bass need to be connected by single long measure bars. With the invisible staff lines, the measure bars become short and refuse to re-connect between treble and bass.

Interesting. They only refuse to connect when the bottom staff has invisible lines. My attempts at trickery failed. My only suggestion is to use 2.3.2 because it worked properly there and submit a bug report at https://musescore.org/en/node/add/project_issue?pid=1236. Mark it as a regression and leave all of the other settings at default so it someone will know it needs fixed.

Issue created #288283: Barlines Refused to Stay Connected over Invisible Staff lines.
It seems this was changed semi-deliberately a couple of years ago as part of a much larger change, with no specific reason given for this part of the change. But the code is basically saying, don't extend barlines if the next staff has invisible staff lines. I am struggling to imagine if there is some scenario where you wouldn't want this - some combination of this with actual invisible staves (Edit / Instruments) or the use of hide empty staves, or cutaway staves, or something else. But I keep coming back to the thought that if you don't want the barline extended, then don't extend it.
Anyhow, it's a simple fix, I'm just trying to be sure there isn't some use case depending on this behavior that I need to consider.
