My school jazz band compilation
It's in progress but i thought it's pretty cool to show off. This is supposed to be a compilation of songs my middle school jazz band did this year that me and a friend are working on. Sadly, we've only been able to include about a tenth of the songs we played the entire year, but it is full of songs we really enjoyed.
Please leave thoughts on it and any critics. I have not labeled each song.

I realize when you playback the song, after amazing grace (how sweet the sound) comes carnaval, and when winds come in the trombones overpower everything even at a mf.

Reminds me of my junior high school jazz band, except it predated thriller by a few years. Too bad, I think I would have like playing it on my sax.

I'm wondering where the 5 KB went because i only noticed a few dynamic changes here and there. It sounded more flowing, but I am sticking mostly off of scores.
Thanks, Andrew

" ... winds come in the trombones overpower everything even at a mf"
it's not only the trombones, but all of the same-instruments that play the unisons. (eg: trumpets)
I noticed when I listened.
If you don't want the instruments (eg trombones) to sound more loud than they should be in the unison parts, you should apply the trick that I applied :)
Didn't you really notice?
Edit: You may not have noticed it because you worked very closely with the your file.
Download attached file and play it.
Are you able to hear the difference now?
Yes, you can say, "I'm writing for the band anyhow, the sound on the computer doesn't matter how much I hear."
But this computer is a blessing.
In the past we used to write only on paper and call the band to play it, but now we write on the screen and listen immediately. And we notice our mistakes at the same moment. :)
