Invisible intruments and cross staff beaming
Hi, I've just finished this score and uploaded it: https://musescore.com/user/23907206/scores/5575074
I have two issues with it. Firstly, in bar 17 I've had to individually beam the semiquavers in the cross-stave: perhaps this issue (https://musescore.org/en/node/280969)?
Secondly, in an attempt to make the formatting a bit nicer, I've put some non-playing notes in the score, and hidden the actual notes in an invisible second piano stave (Bars 1, 58, 59). However, this now causes the submitted score to show up as a piano duet, not a solo piece! Any ideas?

If it is #280969: Cross staff 8ths lose beam if all notes moved to staff above , then it'd be fixed in 3.1, for which just today a release candidate has been published. Final release expected early next week, but maybe you want to give the RC a test?

It is the same problem, yes. I haven't updated MuseScore yet.
However, I still have the problem with the invisible instrument. Is there a better way to do this?

You should be able to manually adjust the type of score if you use the 3 dots and choose update this score. Use the dropdown to change the type to a piano solo rather than a duet.
