Muse3 and Win10 Keyboard
I installed Muse3 (64 bit) on a SurfacePro 4 with all the latest updates to Windows 10.
During the setup, I did not let Muse change my keyboard/language or regional settings.
Unfortunately your software made global changes and corrupted many of my keyboard assignments.
I uninstalled your program and it reverted back to normal.
I reinstalled your program and the problem resumed.
Please advise.

Re-install rarly helps, revert to factory setting much more often so, try that (via the help menu)

???? clarification. my keyboard became normal after uninstalling musescore. When I reinstalled musescore the keyboard problem resumed.

re-installing rarely helps fixing problem with musescore's setup. A MuseScore factiry reset is much more likely to help, have you tried that?
MuseScore doesn't make any global changes I'd know of.

Installing MuseScore3 did change or adversely impacted the keyboard globally when I installed it
However factory reset and selecting the correct language and keyboard settings during the reset process appears to have corrected the problem. Thanks!!!
Nothing about MuseScore installation should be affect anything about global keyboard settings. Can you please explain the problem you are perceiving in more detail?

well it did on my computer each time after installing MuseScore 3. I was able to repeat this problem 3x. Only after the factory reset and selecting the correct keyboard and language settings during the MuseScore factory reset to match my WIN10 computer did the problem resolve itself.

So you likely mean the default shortcut settings within MuseScore weren't as expected if you provided it with a wrong keyboard layout.
You don't mean shortcuts in any other program (such as a browser) were changed?

never mind. musescore 3 now appears to be ok. further investigation of the problem is so far resolved after I changed my keyboard. thanks for you help. 😁👍
