Serious Lag in 3.1, what?
So you guys develop 3.1, pass it through 2 betas, and now it is a public release. I am getting a serious lag with the play function here. Like first measure or so, its fine, playing as it should. But then, as I get to the next couple of measures, it doesn't just get stuck but then go back to regular speed(which I have had happen with previous versions of Musescore), it slows down to the point that my allegro sounds like a grave. And this is with just a trio, just imagine what would happen with an orchestral score. Lag would probably be way worse and it would sound like it is literally stuck, especially if it is already slow.
Here is my trio piece where I am experiencing this lag after the update. I haven't checked to see if this same lag occurs with piano solo or with a duet. If it does, its probably not as bad as it is with this trio piece:

I'm using Windows 10 on a Dell Inspiron 15 laptop(which is usually fast at everything) and I'm getting this lag issue. And it isn't because my laptop is overheating or that it has a lot of space taken up(both of which could cause lag issues).

I'd suggest rebooting and trying again. Also be sure you aren't using any especially large soundfonts.

I did and the lag isn't as bad after the reboot(still exists but only occasionally(so more like in previous versions). And I'm not using any especially large soundfont. I'm only using the default soundfont here.
