Fill a measure with slashes

For the life of me, I can't figure out how to insert a slash instead of a note. I want to represent improvisation measures. I get the staff type symbol above the measure - I don't see anything about slash in the inspector. What exactly do I do to get four slashes in a bar of improvisation?
