Duration of multiple notes can be changed at once (new feature in 3.1)
In the 3.1 release notes it is mentioned that now "Duration of multiple notes can be changed at once". Unfortunately it is not specified in detail how the feature should work (multiple notes of a chord, subsequent multiple notes in the same staff, multiple notes in several staffs?), but when I tried it the way I most would need it, I noticed the following, see attached file:
- If I select all the notes in bar 1 or 3 (all four staffs) and press the "half note" button or the key "6", all four notes change to half notes as I expected. Wow, how nice!
- If I select all notes in bar 2 or 4 and press a note duration button to change the duration, nothing happens, unfortunately.

Try this:
Hold down Ctrl while clicking on various individual notes. Then press the duration button (or number key).

Ah, so works on a list-selection. It unselects though after a change, that looks like a bug to me, IMHO it should keep the list items selected

This works fine, thanks! Altough for complex scores, it would be nice to be able to select notes of all staffs by a rectangular selection instead of clicking at all individuals notes.

Sneaky tip: Perform a rectangular selection, then use the inspector to select just the notes?
