Musescore 3 won't play with external soundcard on Mac
Hello,
Using OSX 10.12 and Musescore 3.1, the scores play fine with the internal audio card but when using an external soundcard (Presonus Firestudio Mobile) it won't play.. the playhead doesn't move.

If you've changed devices after starting MuseScore, you may need to select it in Edit / Preferences / I/O, and/or press "Restart Audio and MIDI Devices".

Thank you, that is useful advice.. but that is not the condition in this case. I started up the MacBook Pro with the external audio card connected (firewire) and Musescore won't play (anything.. I tried just a test measure of 1/4 notes). Restart Audio and MIDI Devices doesn't make it work in this case.
