Playback syncopates my eighth notes - how can I fix this?
In the attached file, playback syncopates the notes beginning at measure 34.
I have not been able to find out why this is happening or how to fix it.
I would appreciate any assistance!

right click on "rit." in measure 34 ->system text properties->swing settings and select "off".

That fixed it. Thank you!! Don't know how that got messed up. I've never even seen that option before!

Probably you added the "Swing" text from the palette (which has that setting on by default) and then edited it to read "rit.".
