Muse Score as MIDI sequencer?
I'm wanting to employ Musescore to drive external voice/drum modules as a MIDI sequencer. I know this is fairly old school but hey, it works. Under EDIT --> PREFERENCES there is a tab for I/O which includes MIDI input and output, and is recognizing my on-board USB/MIDI interface device. Yet I don't see anything (yet) in the "manual" as to how to select voices to MIDI channel, etc. Does anyone have some experience in doing this?

You do that in the mixer (F10). There is a control for channel of each staff.

Be aware that there's only one EXTERNAL MIDI "port" possible right now. Whatever you've got better fit in 16 channels.

Understood. Just drum part channel 10.
But you also answered my other question - which Port?
I presume 1.

It's meaningless to ask for a number. Whatever port you set in the mixer, it will go out to "the port". The port number is currently ignored. That is a bug that has been reported. I'd use 1 anyway.
