Crash of MS 3.2.3 after installing RC 3.3.0
I use MS on two very similar windows 10 machines. I recently installed RC 3.3.0 on one of them (lets call it machine A) alongside 3.2.3 and had no problems running either or both versions. I have just installed RC 3.3.0 on the other machine (machine B), also alongside 3.2.3. RC 3.3.0 worked ok, but 3.2.3 crashed immediately after the splash screen. I uninstalled RC 3.3.0 but 3.2.3 is still crashing. I tried running 3.2.3 with the -R command line option, but still get the crash.
I had this same problem before on machine B with an earlier nightly 3.3 version (can't remember which one) but under pressure to get the job done I didn't investigate very far and reinstalled MS 3.2.3 after uninstalling the nightly 3.3. This time I have submitted the crash report and will wait (for a while) in case someone can come up with a gentler method of getting MS 3.2.3 up and running again, or at least a way that lets me keep my current settings and options.

This could be due to #295238: Version 3.2.3 crashes when opening if the 3.3. RC is installed. A fix for 3.3 RC ensures this won't happen for future versions, but it cannot prevent 3.2.3 from crashing. So wait until tomorrow, when 3.3 will be officially released (if the plan goes on smoothly), to download 3.3 and install it over 3.2.3.

Yes, that looks very similar. And if 3.3 release is so imminent my problem is irrelevant. I only had the two versions installed together to compare behaviour for bug reporting. I will continue to use RC 3.3 by preference until the official release version and if I really need 3.2.3 it is on my other PC.
