Invisible Nonempty Staff
There's an idea that I would like to test as a natural workaround to the lack of dynamics/hairpins applied to a single voice- that of simply creating a staff for each voice of an instrument, and then simply hiding the auxiliary ones. However, this requires hiding the staves that contain all of the playback notes.
Is there a way to hide a staff despite it being nonempty?

Since I don't speak English, I don't think I'm clear on what you want to do. But add a note of Voice 2 (or 3) and make it invisible?

I wish to add a second staff to an instrument, and then make the entire staff invisible, despite there being notes in that second staff.

Press i remove the 'Visible' tick.

Press I and in that dialog make the staff invisible
