Much easier in MuseScore 3: in inspector switch one to below, then set that as style

The "set as style" button wasn't visible ...

I want the minor chords all lower case,
but now also the major ones stay lower case???

With the corresponding setting c is taken as c minor and this spleeded lower case, while cma and cmaj is taken as C Major and spelled upper case
