Preventing unwanted note grouping

• Jan 28, 2020 - 22:57

OS: Windows 10 (10.0), Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.4.1.9660, revision: 20414b2

I'm trying to achieve the grouping in "desired.png" after clicking "Tools -> Regroup Rhythms," but no matter what I do, it always ends up looking like "actual.png." Even if I have my time signature set up like it is in "time properties.png," there doesn't seem to be a way to keep the 16th notes in beats 1 and 2 of the measure separated with a tie between.

Into actual.png, it seems note G has half duration compare to B D and F so for me what your get is absolutely nomal.
divide G note and use a slur, exactlly as into your desired picture

Confirmed, I call that a bug. Feel free to report it formally to the Issue tracker (see Support menu above). When you do so, best to attach an actual sample score and the steps to reproduce the problem.
