Tied notes aren't played when starting the playback
Hello community, I don't know if this little issue just appeared or if I haven't noticed it earlier (so I'm not sure if it's a regression or a suggestion).
All is in the title (I hope it's correct english or globish :) )
When I start playback at the begining of a measure, if the note is tied to the last note of the previous mesure, this tied note I've selected is played like a silence, then the next ones are normally played.
EDIT : Ah yes it's true inside a measure too I've tested it too quickly
So I have to start the playback at previous measure or play the tied note by selecting it before playing back if I want to hear it.
It's not really a problem but it's not totally intuitive for a young composer in love with syncopations...
Have a nice day

it's true with all tied notes not only at the beginning of a measure, But it seems to me correct, : for exemple you have for the last note a quater note, and for the first of following measure an eight note . It's the same note of course cause tie, so you have an dotted quater note begining on the last time of the "before" measure. It's seems impossible to attack the play back at the middle of a note, like if you have a whole note and try to begin play back on the 2nd or 3rd time of it. I have'nt notice this, but it seems to me correct.

Ah yes, I've written it too quickly (I had made the test on a measure like the attached one^^), it's true inside a measure too. You're probably right about the problem for developers (I can contribute to the developpment I know only the basics in development) but I keep the topic open for the moment....
The synthesizers used by MuseScore do not support playing a partial note starting from an arbitrary point in the middle.
Or are you expecting MuseScore to play the note as if it's just starting at that point? That can probably be done, but it won't sound right for most instruments, so I don't know how many other users would agree that it's a good idea.
