Unable to open Musescore 3.4.2

• Feb 22, 2020 - 13:43

Hello! Yesterday I bought an annual subscription for Musescore, but I can’t´open the downloaded Musescore app... I get the message that my Mac is unable to open the app because it must be updated.... My system is Mac Catalina v. 10-15-3.

I have tried many times to download the app but I still get the same message..

I am also having problems with 3.4.2 having just downloaded the appImage version, running on linux (Debian Buster).

This is the the terminal output
$ ./MuseScore-3.4.2-x86_64.AppImage
/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libjack.so.0
/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libnss3.so
qrc:/qml/TelemetryPermissionDialog.qml:37: ReferenceError: globalStyle is not defined
qrc:/qml/DialogButton.qml:74: ReferenceError: globalStyle is not defined
qrc:/qml/DialogButton.qml:74: ReferenceError: globalStyle is not defined

and then I see the splash screen but with an overlayed dialog box asking about sending bug reports. But there is nothing I can do to dismiss the dialog box

I have the same issue except on windows. I had the same issue as the last version. Why is this so hard to fix?
Yes I have two monitors...

If you are having an issue on Windows, it has to be something different - the issue discussed here is very specific to changes Apple made to macOS recently that require the installation process to go through an extra step. Whatever problem you are having on Windows must be unrelated. Please start a new thread and provide more detail on what precisely goes wrong.
