Deleting rests
When transposing a PDF score that I have imported, Musescore sometimes inserts a rest for a note. I can insert the note, but I am unable to delete the rest. I can either right-click or double-click on the offending rest, and it turns blue, but nothing then makes it go away.

If you mean you want to complete remove the time taken by the rest - removing beats from the measure - use Ctrl+Delete
Thanks, Marc, but actually the "extra" rests are adding time to the measure. I have added the note that the erroneous rest had replaced, so I just want to make those rest signs go away.

Then Marc answer seems to be exactly what you're looking for? Using remove selected range (Ctrl/Cmd-Del) removes the "extra time" added to the measure.
