Databases.db
Linux Mint 19.04
Each time I open up musescore it creates a 'Databases.db' file in my home directory. What is the function of this file, and is it possible to change the location where it's created / stored? I've searched through:
~/.config/MuseScore/MuseScore2.ini
as well as everything in:
~/.local/share/data/MuseScore/MuseScore2/
However, I can't find anything relating to Databasese.db

I've not heard of this file before.
Which version of MuseScore are you running (see Help > About) and how did you install it (package manager / snap / flatpak / ppa / AppImage) ?

Version: 2.1.0
revision: 871c8ce
I installed it via the linux mint software manager.

I wonder whether it is somehow part of the distribution package. AFAIK it is not part of MuseScore itself.
2.1.0 is quite outdated too; consider at least moving to 2.3.2 if you still need 2.x access. But otherwise move straight on to the current version (3.4.2) by getting the AppImage from https://musescore.org/download
