Location of MuseJazz font?

I've been desperately trying to find where the Musejazz symbols font is located in my computer's files (I'm on Mac). I've been experimenting with other Softwares (Finale and Dorico) and I really really want to use Musejazz instead of their built-in handwritten fonts.
Does anybody know where I could find the files?

It is built into the program
The font is built into the program; it's not normally possible to extract it. Except on macOS it probably is, I suspect if you open the application package itself and browse around you might find it somewhere. But failing that, you can get it from the GitHub repository where the source to MuseScore is stored: see https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/tree/master/fonts/musejazz.
MuseJazz is, as far as I know, SMuFL-compliant, so it should work in any SMuFL-compliant application. The includes Dorico, since they are the one who invented the standard. Not so sure about FInale, though. Let us know if you get it to work with either, BTW. I've never heard of anyone doing this, It would be interesting to see if it actually works. MuseJazz defines only a subset of the symbols a SMuFL-compliant font would need. For the rest, we fall back to Bravura, which I think is probably the default in Dorico since, again, it's created by the same people. So if they do the same fallback scheme, it should work, but again, I've never heard of anyone trying. If you get it to work, I'd love to see a screenshot!

Thanks for taking the time to respond, Marc.
Within the application package, MuseJazz Text is available as a .otf font. However, the symbols font is nowhere to be found. The closest thing I found was a file called "Musejazz.mss" but I am unaware of a way to open it to see what it is.
The github download font weirdly only contains a single sharp and flat symbol (screenshot attached).

The MSS file is a "style" file, not a font. When loaded into a score using Format / Load Style, it sets the various fonts to all use MuseJazz, maybe does a few other things too.
The font you are seeing might appear to have only two symbols, but that's probably because the font viewer on your system doesn't show you symbols outside the normal Unicode range.
