Request for preparation of instruments that imitate human voices "vocalisation". //przygotowanie INSTRUMENTÓW głosów ludzkich

• Mar 15, 2016 - 14:01

Hello, I use the program MuseScore for several years, from version 1.3 to
the latest 2.0.2. The program is great, but I miss two possibilities: (1)
there is no real possibility of writing psalms without bars or Gregorian
chant; (2) there is also the instruments that imitate human voices, allowing
the playback of sound soprano, alto, tenor or bass - a technique of
vocalizations (vocalizations - singing, which consists in carrying out the
melody on one vowel - usually "a") or technique of MELISMAT (MELISMATIC
singing - singing, consisting in making melody to one syllable of text in
matched to a single note, for example, "la", "ma", "mi" etc.).
I think it is possible to prepare such an instrument called the
"vocalization" by recording the various sounds of singing, the singers
representing different singing voices (soprano, alto, tenor, bass). The
inclusion to MuseScore "instruments" called "vocalization-soprano",
"vocalization-alt", "vocalization-tenor", "vocalization-bass" would help
much, learners of choral singing or vocalists as such.
If possible, please take the preparation of such a project.

Witam, od kilku lat korzystam z programu MuseScore od wersji 1.3 do
najnowszej 2.0.2.
gregoriańskiego;

tenor bas). Włączenie do programu MuseScore "instrumentów" o nazwie
takiej.
O ile to możliwe, proszę o podjęcie przygotowania takiego projektu.

You *can* write music without bars, in a number of different ways. See for instance Edit / Measure, the Join and Split commands, to allow you to reconfigure bars how you like. Also right click a measure, Measure Properties, the "Actual duration" lets you control the length of a measure.

Vocalization is kind of an experimental technology, but there is a possibility someone may work on integrating something like this into MuseScore at some point. Do keep in mind the primary purpsoe of MsueScore is notation, not playback, so priorities are set accordingly.
