saving to PDF

Hi
I have two problems.
1. After succiding in exporting to PDF the score i tried to export parts to PDF and it saved as an XML even when i change the format.
2.I have started a new project and the audio out put is not working (all the other audio function in my Lap Top is working well .

Any help will be great thank you .
