Add fret number to chord diagrams
Is it possible to add a numbering to chord diagrams indicating the corresponding fret position in the guitar neck? For example is it possible to draw a C minor 7th in the 8th fret (e.g. 8x888x) using a 3 fret diagram with an 8 indicating the middle fret?

Yes, it is. Use the scroll bar to the right of the fretboard diagram properties window.
Could be more obvious I guess...
I've just added this to the handbook now, see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/fretboard-diagrams, step 9. The wording may need to get improved, I'm open to suggestions

It was already in step 4, so step 9 got removed again ;-)
