Opening Master Palette causes crash
On all of my files, trying to open the master palette causes musescore to crash.
This says it all.
By the way I am on Macbook Pro 2015 running OSX El Capitan 10.11.2.
A bug patch needs to be issued for this right away, as of now the program is useless to me!

UPDATE: I have tried both re-downloading the application and reverting to factory settings and there has been no change.
Could you please specify which version of MuseScore you are running? Without this information, it will be difficult for the development team to assess the problem.

Did you restart MuseScore after the Revert to factory settings? Did you do the revert using the "-F" command line option or the new option in the Help menu?
Is it possible you replaced the installed instruments.xml file at some point? A "Revert to factory settings" would not repair that if it was corrupted, but a re-install would. I have heard of only one case of a crash involving the master palette, and it invovled someone who had created a customized instruments.xml but got some details wrong and it confused MuseScore. Generally speaking, you shouldn't be replacing the default instruments.xml, just perhaps adding a secondary one if you need customizations.
If that doesn't solve the problem, we'll need more information to understand what has gone wrong on your particular system. We can't fix a bug we don't know to reproduce, and the Master Palette works fine for everyone else. So snything else you could tell us about what might make your system or your installation of MuseScore unique would be helpful.

1. I did restart musescore and I used the new option in Help Menu.
2. I don't tend to customize anything because I am too paranoid about breaking my computer :)
I don't know what else I can tell you, other than the fact that I am using a sound font file called FluidR3Mono_GM.sf3, which I believe I downloaded from the internet.
Thanks for the help, and great work by the support and design teams!

Is there something you could run on your Mac that would report full system details - CPU, RAM, etc?
