Bass choral got broken? [FIXED]

• Apr 18, 2016 - 17:38

After I updated Musescore, I opened a score that has Bass Choral, and the notes play considerably different, even wrong on some cases.
I tried exporting as MP3 and WAV files and the notes are different.
What should I do?

EDIT:
https://musescore.com/user/3607661/scores/1864341 and https://www.dropbox.com/s/y2q7zkk6ilnd9zy/..mp3?dl=0 have the same instruments in measures from 41 to 56, but I the choral part is wrong.

Online, the choral plays normally, but not when I play my file.
The score was made in Portuguese, I don`t think that influences.
I have no idea what a soundfont is, but I have Realtek HD Audio.
The problem are at the measures 41 - 56, with the Baixo (Bass).

The soundfont is listed in View / Synthesizer - the default is FluidR3Mono.

I don't hear anything unusual in those measures. Can you be more specific about what you perceive to be a problem? The first note is Bb, and that's exactly what I hear. The Mixer reports the sound is set to "Ahh Choir", and that's exactly what I hear. So, I *see* a low Bb that is supposed to be played by the "Ahh Choir* sound, and I *hear* a low Bb that played by the "Ahh Choir" sound. Were you *expecting* something different, or are you *hearing* something different?

I still don't understand. Your recording sounds exactly correct. The bass voice starts out Bb - F - E - D - F, exactly and that's exactly how it sounds on my computer and on the file you posted. Are you expecting one of those notes to be different from tha? Why would you expect it to play notes other than the ones that are written?

BTW, there are other options for soundfonts, see the Handbook.
