Shakers
I can't seem to find any shakers in the instrumentation section and I'm doing a bossa nova composition. Any recommendations on the best substitutes or possible software updates which will have the instrument?

MuseScore's default soundfont contains the full GM2 percussion set inc. shaker, cabasa, maracas etc.

But no instrument using that sound, it seems.
It is part of a standard drumset and should sound when that has an A#4, MIDI pitch 70?
Hmm, if so Maracas or Sandpaper Blocks might be the Instrument to pick?

Maracas are shakers.
