Qt error when compiling
Release 2.3 as an Appimage file works perfectly. I created a launcher for it on my Desktop.
I wanted to integrate it with my system. There is already an RPM in Mageia Cauldron for Release 2.2.
I downloaded the .zip file for Release 2.3, and was able to deal with most of the error messages, except one:
CMake Error at mtest/CMakeLists.txt:27 (QT5_ADD_RESOURCES):
Unknown CMake command "QT5_ADD_RESOURCES".
Maybe my distro isn't fresh enough. I notice that Mint 17.3 still has Musescore 1.3
My DE is MATE, more closely related to GNOME, but the Qt libraries are all there.
Doug.

What is release 2.2 or 2.3? There's no such MuseScore Version. Do you mean 2.0.2 and 2.0.3?

Sorry, yes, I do. No doubt Cauldron will upgrade to 2.0.3 in due course.
Our Singers session has just resumed, and I need to edit some old stuff. I think that before, only really ancient files wouldn't open in the new 2.0.

Even 1.3 stopped opening some really old files (from 0.95 or some such) and wanted them to be opened and saved in 1.2, IIRC.
In general 2.0 opens all 1.x files, but they may look different, usually just better, but sometime not, esp. if you did a lot of nanual tweaking them in 1.x.
