"Respell Pitches" respells everything NOT selected
I had one measure selected that needed the pitches respelled. When I clicked "respell pitches", the software respelled every measure BUT the one that was selected. I now have a middle school grade piece full of double sharps.

However, it is not really true that it repsells everything but the selection. It respells everything, period. If the selection didn't have anything that *needs* respelling, then of course nothing will change, but if soemthing in that measure eneded respelling, it will be included.
It's worth stating something probably should be obvious - "respell" doesn't read minds as to figuring out which notes need respelling or why. It has its own rules it follows internally, based on a number of factors including the key, whether a melodic line is ascending or descendng, the specific intervals involved, etc. It's going to do reaosnable things some of the time but generally I wouldn't ever expect it to do exactly what I have in mind - much better to simply make the changes you want manually.
