triplet or tuplet tremolo

Is there any way to get rid of the bars beside the tuplet number when making these kinds of tremolos?

Musescore also doesn't seem to like making dotted quarter notes inside a triplet.. i have to make a rest first.

To remove the tuplet bracket, right click on the tuplet, tuplet properties

I have no problem putting a dotted quarter note in a tuplet.

  1. Select a rest
  2. press N
  3. Press 5 for the total lenght of the triplet
  4. Press Ctrl + 3 for a triplet
  5. Press 5
  6. Press dot (.)
  7. Press the pitch letter, E in your example

Btw, this "bug report" was more suited for a forum discussion. While this forum discussion http://musescore.org/en/node/11260 is a very good bug report.

OK thanks very much. I think I was putting all my questions and bug reports under bug reports - I'll make sure to distinguish them next time :)
