Jazz Style Chord Symbols
I would like to use a triangle for a Major 7 chord and a circle with a diagonal line thru it for a minor 7 flat 5......is this possible?

Yes. Type "t" or "^" for the triangle, "0" for the half-diminished symbol. Works best if you are actually using the jazz style chord symbols - the default with any of the jazz templates, or check the Jazz option in Style / General / Chord Symbols. But it works with the standard style too.
